The last movie has arrived.Yesterday, will be my last Harry Potter movie in cinema :( Watching the movie premiere event in Trafalgar Square in London, I can't believe it has been 10 years (a decade) already since the first movie. If it wasn't for a friend of mine, Adele, back then, (I remember when I was standard 6), I would not have read the first book of Harry Potter. Finally, it ends. Really sad listening to their speeches in these videos. At London Premiere For full length: (sorry it's not HD but the speech that matters) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKXuOj9d5o8 For JK Rowling's speech ...

Love & Honour

I've started to watch City Hunter (K-drama) today. In the first episode, Min Ho has been trained like a recruit soldier since childhood--rigid and strict way of life but deep down he's yearning for love(esp. a mother's affection). At the end of Episode 1, Min Ho decided to stop at a historical square. He paused for a moment and started to walk towards it. At this moment, he senses the calm and beautiful scenery together with the wonderful people enjoying their time with their loved ones. After that, he stood still again, closed his eyes and started to immerse himself with the peace & joyful surroundings. Together with the melancholic background music, I was touched. Reminds me the value of peace. And love.. I love it so much that I replayed the scene several times. I learned that as a rightful human being, we must always protect and defend whatever we have gained--the rights, the privilege of peace and harmony, the freedom to live & improve-all the opportun...

Productive

Image
There's an article that I've read by Roshan Thiran where he listed out 3 traits of combination to achieve productive actions:- Focus - the ability to zero in on an objective and see the task to completion Energy - the vitality that comes from concentrated personal commitment Learning - the ability to correct past mistakes and improve oneself When I read and understand the descriptions word by word, I suddenly agreed that these traits totally sum up all what it takes to be productive. But there's another element that comes before we do any of these 3, which is called Reflection. Reflection simply means contemplating, taking time to think or ponder about a situation or etc. Let's see how reflections play a role in these traits. When you take your time to reflect: Y ou can identify the distraction that can caused you losing your focus. It gives you the ability to re-focus and get back on track. You can find out the reason and self-motivate yourself...

Super 8 Review

I watched this movie last week. It was cool enough for me since I'd expected the movie to be slow and quite predictable. It turns out this movie has enough adventure and excitement elements to watch :D I found out the lead boy actor is really cute just five mins after the movie starts. Plus, the movie has funny scenes and make it much more fun to watch. Later on, only did I knew that the lead girl actress is Dakota's Fanning sister. How adorable. Both siblings have talents in acting. Movie snippets : Anxiously discussing The aftershock Got caught The Air Force hidden agenda The C.A.S.Ts .....

One of the best thing about working in Dell is the benefit to always have free stuffs and gifts..Well, it depends on which department you're in, I guess..hehe. Nobody in this world doesn't like free stuffs. During Microsoft week, Consumer Marketing & Sales team always get free lunch/tea- Nandos, Subway, Domino's, Starbucks or Secret Recipe. Pendrive, carry case for laptops and cool T-shirts are the things that we can get for free when a new fiscal year starts or during any Marketing events. And during certain celebrations, gifts are given to the team..I'm lucky enough to be a part of Dell that have a really great support in terms of their employee welfare and appreciation. I will miss all the free stuffs...heh.. :P Chinese New Year Since this is one of the important celebrations, we have CNY dinner for the whole team. Everyone who attends, have to pluck an angpow each and I managed to get a RM88 angpow!! My director gives me RM10..ok la tu..hahah..They als...
